In September, 2009 the Mohave County Procurement Department received the 14th Annual "Achievement of Excellence in Procurement" award (pictured right). This award was designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. The annual award is earned by those public procurement organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score on a rating of benchmark criteria. The program is designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity, and leadership. In addition, Mohave County is the only county in the State of Arizona to have received the AEP award for five consecutive years.
